Xbox Live/ Ethernet Problem [Xbox 360] Local Connections
I have a problem with connecting my xbox 360 to the internet with my wireless network and ethernet cord. It was working a day ago all of a sudden it just stop working. I Think IP is mess up on my Local Area Conection. Sorry 4 The crappy camera
i kno how to fix it ok if u have a pc and a labtop take ur ethernet cord out ur modem and ur pc then plug the ethernet cord into ur labtop and 360 then it will work easy as posible plz subb it it helped
@macboi09 tried that. didn’t work. xbox 360 won’t pick it up
can you help me i got that like problem my xbox 360 network is like good i can chat with my frends and play online but conntection is bad like in cods those internet stuff are wohrst sow i am not sure were is problem i am tested thos internet cabels or what they are to chance at xbox not work! sow please help me!

@MrEverybody6264 -1 go to the configuration panel / conexions network
2 – clicks the conexion you uses PC (adsl…)
3 – clicks properties / go to “Advanced” tab check the option three, and choose the local network that you plug the network cable (local resaux room 1 / 2….)
4- click on settings and enable DNS, UPNP.. .and clicking on Ok
5 – turn on the xbox /paramétres /paramétres network system / test conexion Xbox live nad you are going to lign (sorry bad english)
smb help me….–when im pluging the enthernet cable in my pc,it tells me its connected,i make bridge connection,and when make a test connection to xbox live,it appears a problem with network!!!{cant obtain ip adress}HELP!!!!!!!!!
OMG i fixed it, ok i read some1’s comment. you have to unplug your rowder/modem plug it bak in, hit connect to xbox live and it won’t work then hit test connection and Bam!! this is the only thing that worked for me so good luck and i hope it works for you!!
Yesterday i was playing and it was fine then the ethernet cord came out so i just reconnected, continued playing and 2 minuts later i got disconnected. It sais the bridge connection is enabled and the lights on but it won’t register. Plus their was no storm, Any Help?? :[

@macboi09 I have a simular problem as this dude. My ethernet cable will not connect to my router anymore. I think my cable is broken but can I just go out and buy any ethernet cable or do I have to get one just for the xbox. (I tried my computer ethernet cable but that didn’t work)
I had a thunderstorm problem. I can’t connect to xbox live AT ALL. My ethernet cable still works with my lap top. I tried changing routers, nothing. I even plugged the cable directly into the modem, nothing. I’m going to try the wireless adapter with the new router I bought. So I’m pretty lost..cause the cable is fine. Router is fine. Modem is fine. Just Xbox port seems to be the problem.

Ethernet cable and i have a computer and my xbox running at the same time.But i don’t get how i had excellent connection for 2 weeks and this hole week i have 1 bar.! I was playing with out my internet on my computer and i had 4 bars.But i am mad because why dose it go from 4 bars to 1 when i use the computer.At least i should get 3.!!

Hey i play MW2 it lags like crazy.I only get 1 bar out of 4.I bought a router a NETGEAR – 802.11g Wireless Router about 3 week ago and i had full connection for 2 week .I don’t play wireless i play using a bars if i am not the host.! I know people that play wireless and the have 3 bars when they use the internet.So i know something is wrong!

your modem is fried
get win7, share the wireless card with the local area card then restart computer and xbox and then you run the test on xbox for live

@allthehelpuneed my problem started after i put in an ip adress thingy in the default gateway and then i undid it and it still wouldnt work

wat u need to do is ok connect the eternet with the xbox and the modem then when is connected turn off modem then turn it back onand wait till it get ready again after that on =your xbox click on connect to xbox live then.
it will come out the same error then click check connection then just text the xbox live connection and it will connect automacticly.
i cant get my computer to read my connection @ 1:01 can someone help me find out how to find my connection
