    Positive: you are helping people (assuming you like helping people)
    Negative: You may come across people who won’t understand what you’re talking about. (you’ll need a lot of patience)

    Being in second level support (hardware and software) I can tell you that while you can make decent money, you’ll never get rich and you’ll NEVER be just a 9-5. All support jobs in the company I work for are on call at least one weekend per month.
