”Install.wim Does not exist” Error and Sollution! Windows 7 (Seven) 1. Turn off pc after removing ALL MEDIA (cds, dvds, Flashdrives) 2. Remove cd drive, or DVD 3. turn on PC 4. Try to “”access”" the drive – logging into XP works or useing a search for an CD Drive in BIOS. 5. Shutdown windows/ PC 6. Insert DVD in drive without giving drive power… Paperclip, needle 7. Insert drive 8. Startup PC 9. Boot up CD/DVD 10. Install Windows
