Your computer should be able to connect to Internet by dial up or DSL. What type of Internet Service Provider do you have ?
What brand ? What operating system now installed ? Model number ?
How much ram and hard drive size ?
It may support Windows XP but probably not Vista.
Need more detail and information to answer completely.
Hope this helps
All versions of Windows will connect to the Internet: 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP.
Even Windows 3.1 (1992) will connect to the Internet!
To upgrade you will have to buy a new Windows but make sure your computer can run whatever Windows version you decide on.
You will have to reformat the computer before placing another OS on it.
And also check if the computer can handle that OS.
And it would have helped alot if could have told us alittle about the computer.
What OS it has, ram size, hard drive size…etc.
your computer doesnt need windows any more than it needs a door…its a computer not a house, keep it simple
