But you know you do… Windows Live Movie Maker can’t save your 1080p video and complains that the video can’t be found? But you know you have it… Windows Live Movie Maker saves your HD video, but certain portions of the video have no video data (black screen), but the audio is fine. Stupid. Windows Live Movie Maker tells you that you should render your video in a lower definition. Ugh. Windows Live Movie Maker just being stupid & you don’t want a Mac? Yeah. ———- KEY POINTS / SUMMARY: Make sure your page file memory / virtual memory is set to the maximum allowable (see various guides on how to change this) After you are ready to render your file, be sure to zoom in as close to the timeline as possible, and that the timeline windows is as small as possible (so that only a few clips are loaded into memory at once). Close Movie Maker and re-open it & your project (this will clear out MM’s cache in memory) Render your project! This is a POSSIBLE solution / temporary workaround to these memory issues and this may not work if your video is like 100 hours long (which in this case you shouldn’t be using MM) ———- DISCLAIMER: This video is a small workaround to the memory issues that are present in Windows Live Movie Maker.
