message me for any questions INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Go to the start button 2. Search “run” 3. Click on the run tool then search “%appdata%” 4. Open the .minecraft folder 5. Open the bin folder 6. Delete the “version” file on the bottom 7. Close window and open minecraft 8. minecraft will update then you can play NOTE: if this doesn’t work once you open the .minecraft folder then go to bin and delete the minecraft file (minecraft.jar). Once you open minecraft it will update.

@soultruesk8rlifelong well once u deleete the version the minecraft.jar file will be erased and it will create a brand new one without any mods u addd.
@ElecTriiCzZx1 how do you take the mod off the .jar file then?

Well now…I’ve done this and i’ve updated my java and reinstalled minecraft yet every time I try to log in my launcher closes on me and I don’t even get to play..

@ElecTriiCzZx1 Whenever i try to run minecraft with the new update, it starts up, the mojang logo turns white and orange. And then the window just disepears after a bit of loading.

@Sunitis01 yes u can but u have installed the mod wrong if u get a black screen make sure u have all the requirements for the mod or it wont work. like audiomod, mod loader ect.
is there a way i can stop black screen and have my (mo creatures) mod?
i downloaded modloader and then extended 2×2 mod, but it is not working, it goes black. After deleting the files “a problem orruored” popped up. i did what it said, but it made it worse. can anyone help?
@0990zit If it doesn’t work for downloading the client, try telling him to play it In Browser. It worked for me, and there isn’t much of a lag difference. If this doesn’t work, I’m sorry.
