How Do I Fix This Video Downloadhelper Problem?

I’m sure everyone knows the mozilla firefox add on video downloadhelper. when i was using it in the beginning, it was converting all my youtube videos into window media player files. now when i try to, i get this quicktime file that says 0 bytes and failed conversion. can someone please help me fix this problem
Also let me know how to make sure this problem will never happen again.

first of all youtube used .flv files or flash video. I’ve never use download helper to covert my files to wmv which is window media I use a third party software to do that like ImTOO FLV Converter.

does this happen for all videos or just some if just some then they are right protected meaning you cant download then due to a encryption.
