Have a major sound problem in GTA: San Andreas. When a play gta for like 1 minute, all the audio is gone! I’ve already surfed on the internet and found something about hardware acceleration. I don’t know how to fix that in Windows 7.

i can hear al bypasing cars engine, but when i jump into a car, the engine is silent, ive tried to install mods, but they dont work

this is not a problem downloading object, editing sound, or “stream” or “SFX” is a computer problem!

i had that problem but different when i drive the car i can only hear the radio not the car sound

i have the same problem once it goes out the only things i hear is music and people’s voices…i even reinstalled the game but not for that reason but once the sound goes away it usually stays off:/

dont stay at that house, i had teh same problem but only around that area where yu went out. try to stay out of that area

I got also that problm When i put ATI readon 9600 (256) card in my pc.I think this problm is due to video card..Because i also not able to open “dxdiag”….I install Direct 9x Update it but nothing happened….

Hello. I think you wanna try to reinstall audio drivers. Or I think you had modified sounds. LIke engine sounds or something like that. Reinstalling game will help.
mount the image or insert the disc and in the menu before you start the game, always press ‘install directx 9.0′ and after then, press ‘done’. then start the game. it helped to fix my sound problem.
I use Windows 7! Not XP or Vista, so the Hardware Accelerator-issue doesn’t work with my PC.
